is completely, utterly Han Solo.

"So, Princess, what do you think about scoundrels now?"

You toss a grin her way and waggle your eyebrows a bit. It used to annoy her--before--but this, this is after, and the action always succeeds in making her smile.

"I don't know," she replies, and you can tell she's trying her best to repress that smile. "Actually, you had quite a reputation going around, so I suppose I had a lot of preconceived notions."

"Oh?"

"Mmhmm."

"Care to share, sweetheart?"

"Well," she returns, and it's driving you crazy the way she's sitting an arm's reach away, simply twirling her hair, "I guess I just expected something... different."

You nearly choke. "What?"

"You're a mercenary, a pirate, and I heard a lot of stories about you, down in the mess hall on the bases. Girls talk, you know--and before you say anything, yes, I did have friends."

You think you lost your dignity somewhere between "stories" and "talk," and you aren't even really sure what she said after that. "What're you trying to say?"

"I told you. I thought I had myself out for a scoundrel, but apparently it was just all talk. You really are just a nice man."

You're floored. Sure, yeah, it's great and all that she thinks of you as a nice man--it's better than when she hated you--but you have a reputation to serve, protect, and uphold!

"Is that all you think of me, sweetheart? 'Just a nice man.'"

"Well," she says, coyly, and finally, you get it--it's all just a game, and you're just now tuining in--"that's all I've been treated to. Got anything else up your sleeve, Mr. Mercenary?"

She waggles her eyebrows at you, and you suddenly understand why the move is so entrancing. She's got that sparkle in her eyes, too, and you're reminded--for the millionth time today--why, at all times, you choose the midst of being chased by TIE fighters to fall in love with this woman.

"As you'll come to see, part of the point," you reply, grabbing her by the waist, forcing her to tumble backwards next to you, "is that we won't be wearing any sleeves."
