Okay, so it’s been a million years since I posted anything in this journal, so I’m going to try and get everything done at once without being too boring or rambly. I really mean to keep the journal up to date this time, even though I never really do anything.

School and Work Stuff )

I’m using all this free time to mess around with Photoshop for the House Cup (which has just started again) and, of course, the force that drives my social life: friend drama. Yes, Tessie’s life is currently dominated by friend drama once again, and this is the bad bad kind.

Big Rant )

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] yubsie, on a totally random note, because I suck at making entries flow from one topic to another, my family’s talking about their trip to Halifax again, though it won’t be for a while because Mom is still teaching right now. But they’ve definitely agreed to take me to visit you when they go. So as long as nothing drastic happens between now and then, we might actually end up being able to make the universe implode and meet.

So, I still don't really have a lot to say. I finished my final exams last night, with 200 multiple choice questions on ancient Greece. I think I confused all the Poly- people with each other, but I'm pretty sure I passed, which is all that matters. Now it's vacation and I'm kind of numb still about it, because my exam schedule was so weird. It doesn't really feel over yet, and I guess it isn't, really, until I get my grades.

Also, did the spam meme. Because it's ME. :P

Four finals down, one to go, whee. The multiple choice ones are pretty good, I think, but I'm not sure how I did on the essays. I've never written a final with essays before, and I'm not really sure what they wanted. Oh, well, I'll know soon enough, I suppose. The week from hell is mostly over now, though. Two exams on Tuesday, and two today, and my last one is next Wednesday, then BREAK! YAY.

Also, Grindelwald seems to have a revolving Harry. Boo. It's hard to have a Harry Potter game with no Harry Potter. :P But despite that, I really do love this game. It's probably soured me on all other HPRPGs forever, but it's great and the other players are all great. We're having so much fun.

And finally, Book Meme )

Life's been pretty busy lately. The one sucky thing about being an arts student is papers. Especially boring history papers about nineteenth century newspaper articles. Which, by the way, I really should be typing now, but I'm going to work on a fic instead, because the Mail is burning my brain out with its sheer dullness.

I've also been working quite a bit. Finally got some tables on Sunday, which means tips, so yay. I got a mean, mean table who bitched at me about how the small milk was too big, and the nine inch pizza was too small. Dude. It was NINE INCHES. He should have known when he ordered the damn thing. :P I also had three high teenagers with the munchies show up and eat a whole party pizza and two pitchers of Pepsi in less than fifteen minutes. :P They were amazingly polite, I was really surprised. The rest of them were pretty normal, which was lucky. Apparently I did a really good job, which means I have to get to do it again this coming Sunday. Yay.

I'm so incredibly boring, I have nothing else to say. Blah.

School is alright. We haven't really done anything yet, so I'm not sure what I think of it. History is kind of boring, so far all we've done is learn about different kinds of Natives in Canada before first contact, which is actually less interesting than the sole of my shoe. Economics is all stuff I've done before, but the prof is fun and manages to make it halfway interesting. Psych is fun, so far we've watched movies and talked about different theories in psychology. It's probably my favourite course so far. Western Thought is insane, I'm taking like, five pages of notes per class, but it's interesting stuff. We're on the development of democracy in Athens. The tutorial (which I had for the first time this morning) scares me a little, because it's like a whole other class on the same stuff. We have to write papers for our tutorial. Meh. And I don't remember anything about Anthropology, which is probably a bad sign, but I have it again tonight, so it's okay.

And now, for my amusement:

Mary Sue? )

Oh, and I think I may have gone overboard on my Narcissa application. Her history is three pages long, after I cut it down, heh.
